About
Amy graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in December 2018, earning Associate degrees in both Fashion Design and Footwear Design & Development.
Following graduation, she joined Yellow Box in 2019 as a Junior Designer and was promoted to Designer in 2022.
Each design season, Amy was responsible for creating 100–150 styles across a wide range of categories, including flip-flops, sandals, sneakers, heels, and boots. She managed the development process from initial concept through production, leaded fit sessions and maintained daily communication with overseas partners to ensure optimal fit and quality.

In 2024, Amy joined the Boot Barn team as an Associate Women’s and Kids Designer. In this role, she contributes to the development of seasonal trend presentations, translating emerging trends into thoughtful, market-relevant designs. She sketches and develops vibrant, fashion-forward western boots, blending creativity with commercial appeal while honoring the heritage of western style. Her work focuses on bringing fresh energy, color, and detail to each collection, ensuring every design resonates with both the brand and its customer. Through this role, she has also had the opportunity to design for kids—quickly becoming one of her favorite categories, where she enjoys bringing playful creativity and personality into each design.

Born with a condition called Amniotic Band Syndrome, Amy has limited fingers and no toes on her right foot. This has made finding well-fitting shoes a lifelong challenge.
Her personal experience inspired her to pursue footwear design, with a goal of creating inclusive, thoughtfully designed shoes for individuals with foot disabilities who require extra care and attention in their footwear.
